Norman Commercial Office Building Suffers a Flood

The broken main water line flooded a section of this large office building in Norman. Fortunately, most of the standing water was limited to the restroom area which benefited from a tile floor and coving. Wicking of the clean water did render about 18" of drywall paneling non-salvageable. However, our SERVPRO technicians did manage to save the wall covering, thus mitigating damage and cost to the proprietors. After discarding the paneling, we set up shrouds and dehumidifiers to extract any residual moisture trapped within the wall cavities. Expert and skillful efforts restored this storm damaged area to full use within two days. The management company commented, "This is why SERVPRO is our water cleanup company of choice."
